BEFORE YOU START

NOTE: Most newer PC cases include a CPU cut-out to allow access to the bottom of the motherboard. If your case does not include a cut-out, you will need to remove the motherboard from the case prior to installation. iCUE LINK AIO coolers come with the Intel mounting bracket pre-installed on the pump for quick installation.

FAQ

Is the iCUE LINK LCD Screen Module counted as an iCUE LINK device?

Yes, it is counted towards the seven device limit per port of the iCUE LINK System Hub. Please visit this page for more information.

iCUE LINK device count per model:

  • iCUE LINK H100i LCD: Four (4) (1x Pump base, 1x LCD module, 2x QX120 RGB fans)
  • iCUE LINK H150i LCD: Five (5) (1x Pump base, 1x LCD module, 3x QX120 RGB fans)
  • iCUE LINK H170i LCD: Five (5) (1x Pump base, 1x LCD module, 3x QX140 RGB fans)

How do I know the direction of the airflow of the fan?

FAQ_image-01_1

An arrow located on the side of the fan indicates the direction of airflow.

Can I reuse the pre-applied thermal paste on the cooler for re-installation?

Re-installation of the iCUE LINK LCD cooler will require you clean off the pre-applied thermal paste and apply a new layer of thermal paste. We recommend using CORSAIR XTM70, sold separately.

What orientation should I install my radiator?

FAQ_image-02_2

For optimal performance, we recommend installing the radiator with the tubes positioned at the bottom of the case (Figure 1). However, you have the flexibility to install the radiator in various orientations, including an inverted position. Please ensure that the highest point of the radiator is elevated above the level of the CPU pump, regardless of the installation orientation (Figure 2).

My cooler and fans are blinking red or not functioning. What do I do?

If the fans on your system are blinking red, this is an indication that too many iCUE LINK devices are connected to a single port on the System Hub. The maximum number of devices that can be connected to a single port is 7 (please note that the LCD screen also counts as a separate device). To resolve this issue, please distribute the iCUE LINK devices across both available ports on the System Hub. This will ensure adequate power distribution to all connected devices.

If you continue to experience issues or find that the fans are not functioning at all, please perform the following:

  • Double check all connections between the cooler and fans.
  • Ensure that the cooler is updated to the most recent firmware via iCUE.

If this does not resolve your problems, please open a support ticket or contact our customer support team for further troubleshooting and assistance at https://help.corsair.com/hc/requests/new.

What should I do if my cooler backplate feels loose after installation?

It is common for your cooler backplate to feel loose after you install in into your motherboard for the first time. Once you have seated and tightened down the cooler pump, it will pull the backplate to the motherboard and apply pressure on the socket via the cooler.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT, under any circumstances, add additional washers and spacers to your backplate to decrease play in the backplate. Doing so will increase the mounting pressure to the retention kit and potentially damage your retention kit, motherboard or socket.

What should I do if I lost or broke a specific part or accessory from the iCUE LINK LCD liquid CPU cooler kit?

Replacement parts for iCUE LINK LCD liquid CPU coolers are sold through the CORSAIR webstore.
