What to look for in a refurbished PC or accessory
Shopping refurbished doesn’t mean you should sacrifice on specs. Look for the following as you browse.
- Product category: We’ve got refurbished PCs and parts, as well as peripherals and accessories.
- Warranty: CORSAIR refurbished products feature a 90-day warranty, so look at each product to see what it covers.
- Compatibility: As with new products, check your PC parts and peripherals to make sure they’re compatible with your setup.
What does it mean to be “certified refurbished” and is it trustworthy?
If a product is “certified refurbished”, that typically means that the manufacturer itself has fixed it up and deemed that it’s high-enough quality to sell. CORSAIR has a rigorous product refurbishment process where we test to ensure each item meets the same performance spec standards as a new product, ensure any applicable firmware is updated, give the product a once-over to confirm good physical condition, and pack it up safely to sell. We also take additional hygienic measures with devices like headsets.
