How do you control the RGB lighting on the CORSAIR ONE i500?

The CORSAIR ONE i500 has four RGB strips, two on each side of the front panel and two on the bottom. They can be controlled in two ways. One is through the touch-sensitive strips on the front panel and the other is through the CORSAIR ONE DASHBOARD software.

There are two light-sensitive strips on the front of the i500. They are highlighted in the picture above. Separating them is the central power button with the CORSAIR logo.

The strip above the power button allows you to control the color of the static light. Slide your finger along the strip to change the color. Available colors are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, and white.

The strip below the power button serves two purposes. Tap anywhere on the strip to cycle through different lighting effects. The available effects are static, breathing, strobe, color cycle, rainbow, and starry night. Slide your finger across this strip to adjust the brightness of the backlight. Sliding your finger up increases the brightness and sliding your finger down decreases the brightness.
