CORSAIR iCUE LINK 4-way splitter: Everything you need to know

The CORSAIR iCUE LINK 4-way splitter is a great way of expanding your iCUE LINK system. This splitter is mainly used for end-point devices (components that have just a single iCUE LINK port, for example, the XC7 RGB Elite).

The CORSAIR iCUE LINK 4-way splitter essentially works as a USB hub, where it splits the signal out into four different ports.

The iCUE LINK 4-way splitter can be mounted directly to an iCUE LINK System hub with an active connector, or with an iCUE LINK cable.

The 4-way splitter is especially handy when you have a system with a large amount of devices and multiple Hydro X Series components. In the above picture we have a system with two iCUE LINK System hubs, and a single 4-way splitter.

In this system there are a total of 16 QX120mm fans and three Hydro X Series LINK components. We have split them out on the system hubs as following:

  • System hub one, channel one:
    • 3x QX120mm fans
  • System hub one, channel two:
    • iCUE LINK 4-way signal splitter
      • XC7 RGB Elite
      • XD5 RGB Elite
      • XG3 RGB
  • System hub two, channel one
    • 6x QX120mm fans
  • System hub two, channel two
    • 7x QX120mm fans

This system is considered very high-end and most users will not use this many components in a single build, but the 4-way signal splitter also gives users with less components much more flexibility when finishing up their iCUE LINK systems.
