Updating the naming convention for CORSAIR AIOs

If you’re looking for a new AIO for your CPU you might be interested in the H100i. No, not the H100i RGB Elite, which shouldn’t be confused with the H100i Elite Capellix. And those are both totally different from the H100i Elite Capellix XT. Completely unrelated to the H100x by the way. I’m talking about the LINK H100i. And no, the 100 doesn’t mean it’s 100mm in length, it’s 240mm of course.

If you got a little confused, I don’t blame you. We’ve been making AIOs for a long time and naming things has always been a challenge. It’s a mix of making something familiar to help people quickly understand the product while keeping it different to make it stand out with its unique specs and design. Our naming convention has generally been about using words to say what’s unique, like LINK functionality or Capellix LEDs, while using the number to hint at the size. It’s a somewhat vague naming scheme and it can be figured out but if you’re a first time CORSAIR shopper it’s easy to get lost. That’s why I’m happy to say we’re hitting the reset button.

Moving forward CORSAIR AIOs will be generationally named with a unique code name with more defined features and the actual size of the radiator. Now you’ll start seeing things like TITAN 240 RX RGB, TITAN 360 RX RGB, etc. It should be much easier to distinguish what line of AIOs you are looking at while clearly stating the length.

So if you were to breakdown the full name of a TITAN AIO, it would look something like:

iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX RGB

  • iCUE LINK: Ensuring compatibility with the LINK ecosystem.
  • TITAN: The unique name for this AIO product line. It impacts the pump base, the tubing, and the radiator style.
  • 360: Indicating 360mm length radiator size. This will also indicate what size fans will come with the AIO. 240mm and 360mm radiators will come with 120mm fans while 280mm and 420mm radiators will come with 140mm fans.
  • RX: Referring to RX Series fans that are included with this AIO. The fans are independent from the AIO and can be removed and replaced.
  • RGB: Reflecting the RGB LEDs on the pump cap and fans as opposed to an LCD screen or other CapSwap Modules.

We plan to use this naming scheme with all AIOs moving forward and expect this to help clearly distinguish the generational iterations of our AIOs. Keep up to date with us on X, Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, or Twitch to be the first to know when we put in this new naming scheme to use with some new products in the near future!
