FAN INSTALLATION
BEFORE YOU START
STARTER KIT
This section will provide a brief guide how to install your RX MAX Starter Kit.
Create or Add Into a Fan Group
Connect the RX MAX fan into an existing fan group by aligning and inserting the connectors into the open active port (L) and passive ports (K).
Setting Up the RX MAX Fan Group
After connecting your RX MAX fans together, insert the iCUE LINK cable (F) into an open active port (L) on your RX MAX fan.
Install RX MAX Inside the Case
Mount the RX MAX fans onto your case with the supplied QuikTurn mounting screws (G).
Please note that QuikTurn screws thread much faster than traditional self-tapping screws; we advise hand tightening QuikTurn screws with a screwdriver only to avoid over threading your RX MAX fans.
Install RX MAX on AIO Radiator
When using RX MAX fans with an AIO radiator, please use the included AIO radiator mounting screws (D) as they are slightly longer to accommodate for the increased thickness of the fans.
Install RX MAX on Hydro X Series Radiator
When using RX MAX fans with a Hydro X Series radiator, please use the included Hydro X Series radiator mounting screws (E) as they are slightly longer to accommodate for the increased thickness of the fans.
Connect Fan to iCUE LINK System Hub
Connect the power cable (C), USB cable (H), and iCUE LINK cable (F) into the System Hub, then connect the power cable (C) and USB cable (H) into your power supply and motherboard, respectively.
