How to install the vertical mount kit in the 6500 Series Case

INSTALLING THE VERTICAL GPU MOUNT KIT

The kit will come with a vertical PCIe mount, PCIe extension cable, two thumbscrews, and a bag of spare screws.

At the back of the case, where the PCIe slots are, there is a screw holding the PCIe mount in place.

  • Remove the screw to release the PCIe mount from the chassis.

  • Insert the vertical GPU mount into the space where you removed the original PCIe mount. There are three alignment points: Two on the lower left section of the motherboard tray, and the other one is the hole where you removed the screw to release the factory mount. Install the screw back.

  • Once the vertical GPU mount is in place, connect the PCIe extension cable to the motherboard’s PCIe slot.

  • Mount the other end (PCIe slot) onto the two standoffs on the bracket using the two thumbscrews.

And you are done. You can now flex your GPU by mounting it vertically to show its power and glory.
