What to do if your Xeneon 32QHD165 gaming monitor has issues with its display

If your Xeneon 32QHD165 gaming monitor is having problems displaying images, try the steps below.

If your monitor does not show any images...

If your monitor does not display any images, check the following:

  1. Make sure your monitor is turned on.
  2. Check if your video cable is properly connected to the monitor and the source device.
  3. Check the quality of your video cable and make sure it is not damaged.
    • Make sure to avoid low quality video cables and extensions.
  4. Double-check which video source input your monitor is set to if you have disabled the Auto Source feature in OSD.
  5. Connect the monitor to another source device to test the video input.
    • Avoid hot-plugging the monitor; before you power up the source device, make sure the monitor is already connected.
  6. Connect the source device to another available monitor to test video output.
    • Avoid hot-plugging the monitor; before you power up the source device, make sure the monitor is already connected.

If you have checked the above and the monitor still does not display images, contact Customer Support and we will provide further assistance.

If the image is too light or too dark...

If the monitor display is too light or too dark, you can adjust the brightness/gamma/contrast settings via the OSD.

If you are still having issues with the monitor image, try resetting the monitor to factory settings.

If the image is stretched or squished...

A stretched or squished image may be caused by an aspect ration issue. Check the Aspect Ratio setting under System Setting.

The Aspect Ratio setting is set to "Auto" by default, but there are certain instances where you may need to manually set the aspect ratio, such as for certain combinations of adapters and retro game consoles.

If the image has color issues...

If your monitor displays images with color issues, the first thing you should do is check the quality of our video cable and make sure it is not damaged. Avoid using low quality video cables and extensions.

If your video cable is fine, try adjusting the picture settings via OSD. If that does not work, try resetting the monitor to factory settings.

If there are artifacts in the onscreen image...

If you see artifacts in the onscreen image, first check the video cable to ensure it is not damaged.

If your video cable is fine, check your source device as faulty graphics cards or a faulty game console can cause image issues. Please note that you may require contacting the manufacturer for assistance.

If the monitor has a dead pixel...

Corsair has a Zero Dead Pixel policy for our monitors. If your monitor has 1 or more bright pixels or 6 or more dark subpixels, you can exchange the monitor as long as it is within its 3-year warranty period.

You can read more about our Zero Dead Pixel policy here.
