BEFORE YOU START

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

This Quick Start Guide is a general installation guide and does not cover specifics of various custom cooling setups.

CORSAIR recommends you thoroughly leak-test your custom cooling system for at least 24 hours to ensure that the system is securely sealed and operating reliably. CORSAIR warranty does not cover any hardware damage resulting from poorly executed, improper and otherwise hasty assembly of your custom water-cooling system.

Disassembly of CORSAIR Hydro X Series products is highly discouraged due to the complex design of components. Such action may result in irreparable mechanical, electrical or chemical damage that may void the warranty.

PREREQUISITES

FITTING AND TUBING INSTALLATION

1. IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE YOU START

Trim the adhesive tape into shorter lengths of approximately 2-3 cm (about 1 inch) each. This ensures easy application and prevents the tube from becoming too thick to fit over the fitting ring.

The transparent tape present on the tube's edges is for manufacturing and shipping protection only. Please avoid using it, as its tight grip can hinder the fitting's insertion.

2. ADHESIVE TAPE USAGE

Carefully wrap the shortened adhesive tape around the tube. Ensure gentle application to preserve adequate clearance for the subsequent fitting insertion procedure.

Using scissors, cut the tape at the center of the tape, ensuring that a portion remains affixed to the tube.

3. TUBE INSTALLATION

Carefully compress the tube with the tape overlay and insert it through the fitting ring.

Push the tube onto the fitting. Secure the installation by tightening the fitting ring. Once secured, gently tug on the tube to ensure it is firmly attached to the fitting.

HYDRO X Series accessories (coolant, tubing, and fittings) have a 2-year warranty.
