1. Precaution: take care to discharge any electrostatic charges.
2. Power down your system.
3. Identify and locate an available M.2 key M 2280 PCIe Gen5 capable slot on your system, referring to your motherboard or system documentation.

4. If your system includes a heatsink/slot cover or cooler on the selected M.2 slot, remove it and take care no screws remain on standoffs for shorter M.2 slots. The MP700 requires cooling, please refer to your system documentation or purchase separately.

1. Carefully remove the large front label reading MP700 from SSD
2. Insert and secure M.2 with screw, ensuring that standoff is mounted in the 2280 position. Please care not to overtighten the screw to avoid damage to the drive. Some motherboard models may use clasps instead of screws to fasten the drive into position, please refer to your motherboard or system documentation.

3. If you are using the heatsink/slot cover or cooler included with your system, place them over the SSD.
