CORSAIR FRAME 4000 Series

• FRAME 4000D has a split side glass/mesh that can be removed independently depending on what you need to do.
• To remove the top three-quarter glass panel, unscrew the panel at the back of the case and swing the glass off the tabs in the front of the case.
• To remove the lower quarter mesh panel, unscrew the panel at the back of the case and swing the mesh off the tabs in the front of the case.

• To remove the steel side panel, unscrew the panel at the back of the case and swing the panel off from the tabs towards the front of the case.

• Pull the front steel panel outward. It's secured by two ball snaps at the top and bottom.

• Unscrew the two captive thumbscrews in the rear and pull the rubberized strap to remove the top panel.

• The PSU shroud is held in with a screw in the front of the case along the side and a screw in the rear panel of the case. Remove these two screws and the shroud will lift out.

• Unscrew the screw at the top of the mount and tip the mount or cable cover out of the side. Repeat this in reverse to reinstall the part of your choice.

• The motherboard tray is held in by 4 screws along the back of the tray. The tray tilts outward and lifts out.

• The FRAME 4000D supports mITX, mATX, ATX, and E-ATX motherboards, including ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero, and Gigabyte Project Stealth with reversed power connections.
• Ensure the I/O plate or shield is installed if required.
• Align the motherboard with the standoffs and secure it with the provided screws.
  • TIP: If standoffs don't align, move the unused standoffs to the appropriate slots in the tray.

• Connect the FPANEL plug directly to your motherboard front panel I/O pins, following the keyed connector.

• For non-standard Intel or AMD motherboards, use the included adapter to connect from the FPANEL plug to the individual pins.
  • PRO TIP: If your PC experiences issues or doesn't turn on with the FPANEL plug, consider trying the adapter cable.
  • This case does not have a reset button or HDD activity LED.

• FRAME 4000D features the newest iteration of CORSAIR’s InfiniRail Fan Mounting System for flexible fan and radiator placement.
  • TIP: For optimal noise, thermal performance, and reliability, ensure the radiator is mounted higher than the pump when using an AIO.

• For AIO coolers, top mounting provides the optimal balance of performance and compatibility, but other mounts can be utilized based on your build preferences. Consult your coolers product manual for more tips on usage and best practices.

• The FRAME 4000D supports both horizontal and vertical GPU installations using the included PCI bracket.
• After installing the motherboard, remove the PCI cover screws to fit the GPU.

• Slide the card in until the PCIe retention clicks on the motherboard.
• Align screws in the PCIe shield and secure the expansion card into the case.
  • TIP: Add the GPU as one of the final steps for easier building.

• The FRAME 4000D supports vertical GPU mounting with the included PCI plate and a PCIe Riser Card (sold separately).
• Start by removing the two screws from the PCI plate at the rear of the case.

• Uninstall the plate and rotate it 90 degrees, with the thumbscrews for the GPU facing the top of the PCI hole.

• Reinstall the 2 screws removed from the plate prior.

• Install the vertical GPU standoffs included in the accessory box.

• Mount the riser to the standoffs using two of the included 6-32 motherboard screws.

• Mount the GPU into the rear PCI plate, clicking it into the riser card, and secure the card with the thumbscrews.

• The FRAME 4000D includes two drive plates, with each plate allowing you to mount a single HDD or two SSDs. Using both plates you can choose between 2x HDDs, 4x SSDs, or a 1x HDD with 2x SSDs.
• To remove a drive plate, unscrew the single retaining screw and remove the plate.

• Install an HDD on the drive plate by screw a HDD from the bottom of the drive using the included HDD screws in the accessory box.

• Install an SSD on the drive plate by screwing the SSD in from the bottom of the plate using the included SSD screws in the accessory box.

• The drive plate also doubles as a home for an iCUE LINK System Hub controller if one is in use.

• Slide the PSU into the PSU location with the fan facing down.

• Secure the screws to the PSU exhaust area.

• The FRAME 4000D is fully compatible with all SHIFT PSUs and installs identically to a standard ATX PSU.

• The FRAME 4000D can mount up to 12x 120mm or 7x 140mm on the top, side, and rear of the case.
• To install fans using the front InfiniRails, decide on your fan configuration before installing fans.
• Slightly loosen, you do not need to fully remove, the set screws to allow the rails to be adjusted.

• Set your fan size according to the markings on the case.

• Install your desired quantity of InfiniRail fan mounts to the InfiniRail.

• Align your fans to the fan mounting tabs and screw a standard self-tapping fan screw into the fan frame.

• For the top InfiniRail, slightly loosen the set screws to allow the rails to be adjusted and set your fan size.

• Set your fan size according to the markings on the case. Screws using non-standard head patterns are not meant to be removed.

• Align your fans to the fan mounting slots and screw a standard self-tapping fan screw into the fan frame.
• To install fans in the side, ensure you have the side fan mount installed, align your fans to the fan mounting slots, and screw a standard self-tapping fan screw into the fan frame.
  • TIP: Use the dots marked on the side fan mount to serve as centering guides.

• The FRAME 4000D features three removable dust filters. A power supply filter on the bottom, a magnetic filter on the side, and a plastic/nylon filter on the front.

TIP: Filters can be cleaned with pressurized air or water. If you rinse your filter, ensure filters are fully dry before reinstalling.

• The FRAME 4000D includes various cable management features such as: Hook and loop straps to secure cables down to your motherboard and cable cover.
  • Variable internal / external hook and loop straps for rear of the case.
  • Multiple positions for hook and loop straps to accommodate standard or reverse connector motherboards.
  • Zip tie points are strategically placed for routing power cables to specific devices.
  • iCUE LINK cable hooks in the top panel to securely hold iCUE LINK cables without permanent attachment.
  • Supports most reverse connector motherboards (MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte) that feature connectors on the rear face of the board provide you with the cleanest possible build.
  • A dedicated location for your iCUE LINK System Hub.
  • If you don’t feel like spending much time on cable management and don’t want your cables visible through the bottom mesh quarter-panel, swap the translucent insert for the color-matched blank-out insert included in the Accessory Box.
