This summer, Gary Payton II reached out to us at CORSAIR regarding a gaming PC. There was no way we were going to pass up on this opportunity to properly set up the Young Glove, and we were absolutely thrilled to share our enthusiasm of PC gaming with him.
GPII’s custom PC consists of the following:
One request for his PC was that he requested for it to be a "light show", and our iCUE LINK QX RGB fans were especially perfect for this. We chose the artwork (designed by @zgvisualz) on his custom side panels that would be sentimental and represent his relentless work ethic in basketball – his 2022 championship with the Golden State Warriors.
On his H150i ELITE LCD XT, we set up a few high-quality GIFs that showed off some memorable moments in NBA, college, and Warriors' decor (“Dub Nation”, “The City”). Build montage below!
We didn’t quite stop at just a custom gaming PC for GPII. We wanted to provide a full gaming setup that was suitable for a champion.
In building a setup suitable for a champion, we established a few guidelines: a monitor which provided vivid imagery and smooth motion paired with a system powerful enough to take full advantage of the display, ergonomics for minimal muscle fatigue, and wireless peripherals to void any cable hassle. The peripherals were also color-coordinated with GPII’s custom PC build and preference.

Having endeavors in streaming, Gary is well-equipped to do so. For times where he wants to interact with fans, have some post-game chatter/discussion, or just share those dubs off the court - he'll be ready.
