If you're looking to further accentuate your PC build, look no further than our LS430 & LS350 Aurora Light Strips. Available iniCUE LINK or +5V ARGB versions, with their ultra-bright capability and seamless diffusion, the Aurora Light Strips will grant the vibrant lighting you're looking for in a build.
Installation of the Aurora Light Strips is a breeze, which we'll be covering here.
Firstly, you'll want to make sure there's sufficient clearance for mounting the Aurora Light Strips, starting with accounting for the thickness of the light strips. Thanks to the slim design of these light strips at ~7mm, it's relatively easy to fit these along the sides of cases.
You'll also want to make sure to use the appropriate length for wherever you are planning to install the light strips in your case. Here's a non-exhaustive guide for our more popular cases:
7000 Series - up to 430mm (horizontally & vertically)
5000 Series - up to 430mm (horizontally), 350mm (vertically)
4000 Series - 350mm (horizontally & vertically)
6500 Series - up to 430mm (horizontally & vertically)
3500X - up to 430mm (vertically), 350mm (horizontally)
2500 Series - up to 430mm (horizontally), 350mm (vertically)
You may allow the Aurora Light Strips to simply magnetically attach to your case, or utilize the double-sided adhesive that is included. With the combination of low-profile design and ease of installation, you can be creative in mount your light strips elsewhere in the case - such as the cable shroud featured in some of our cases, or next to your motherboard (pictured below).
Once you've mounted the Aurora Light Strips, you may want to create a light strip chain, depending on your configuration. Each light strip has a female connector on one end, and a male connector on the other end. Simply connect one light strip's male connector to another light strip's female connector. Don't forget there are extension cables included in the packaging if needed!
The iCUE LINK LS430/LS350 kits include an iCUE LINK Adapter that connects directly to an iCUE LINK System Hub (Sold separately), which will help simplify the setup process.
Mount the iCUE LINK Adapter magnetically, or utilize the double-sided adhesive that's included. Afterwards, simply connect one light strip's male end to the iCUE LINK Adapter, then connect the Adapter to an iCUE LINK System Hub.
If you're yet to join the iCUE LINK ecosystem, instead opt for the regular LS430/LS350 Aurora RGB kits, to control the light strips via your motherboard's RGB software, you may utilize the +5V ARGB adapter cable to connect the light strips to your motherboard's +5V ARGB header.
The LS Aurora strips can also connect to our other controllers with a 3-pin RGB header in case you have one of these lying around: Commander CORE XT, COMMANDER PRO, Lighting Node PRO.
Once you've finished connecting the light strips and iCUE LINK Adapter, make sure you have the latest version of iCUE installed and the Aurora Light Strips will show up for customization.
Click on Aurora Series light strips, and you'll be able to manually select the number of light strips installed, or run the wizard for automatic detection.
And voila! You've successfully set up your Aurora LS430/LS350 Light Strips. You may assign a lighting profile to Device Memory Mode if you'd prefer not to have iCUE running in the background.
