If your HS80 or Void series headset is experiencing sidetone issues, try the following steps to fix the issue:
- Quit iCUE if you have it open.
- Type %appdata% into the Windows search bar.
- Go to Corsair > CUE4 >profiles.
- Open any of the CUEPROFILEDATA files by using a text editor (such as Notepad++) (e.g. {6cd71b5b-3931-40b3-etc...}.cueprofiledata).
- Search for SidetoneProperty inside the text editor.
- Change the value between the "muted" tags to "false" so the value reads "<muted>false</muted>"
- If the value already reads "<muted>false</muted>, then move on to Step 8.
- Saved the file, but do NOT change the file name.
- Change to file to read-only by right-clicking the file, selecting Properties, and then ticking the Read-only box.
