SETTING UP YOUR VENGEANCE PC

UNBOXING THE VENGEANCE PC

The CORSAIR VENGEANCE PC is bundled with a power supply power cord and the WIFI antennas that will be installed on the rear side of the desktop. Before powering on, make sure to connect all your devices so they are readily available when the system is powered on.

  1. Safely remove the CORSAIR VENGEANCE PC from its packaging.
  2. Remove the top and bottom protective shipping foam from the Vengeance PC.
  3. Place your Vengeance PC on your desk to continue the set-up process. If you prefer to place the Vengeance PC on the floor, avoid placing it on shaggy carpets as this can cause heating issues. For the best results, make sure the Vengeance PC is elevated off the floor.
  4. Vengeance PCs ship with an interior packing foam that needs to be removed before continuing. Safely remove the glass side panel to remove the packaging foam. You can review the video below for instructions on the side panel removal.

CONNECTING THE VENGEANCE PC

  1. Connect your mouse and keyboard, as well as any other devices, to the desktop via the USB ports on the motherboard located on the rear side of the case.

2. Connect your monitor to the graphics card using either an HDMI or Display Cable.

3. Attach the WIFI antennas to the WIFI ports available on your system. If you prefer to use an Ethernet cable for Internet access, plug the ethernet cable instead.

4. Connect the power cable into the power supply and then connect the other end of the power cable to the nearest power outlet. If you are using a surge protector, connect the power cable to the surge protector instead.

5. Turn the power supply switch on and press the power button located on the top side of the desktop.

6. Once the system goes through the initial boot process, it will load the pre-installed Windows operating system.

7. Follow along the Windows prompts to complete the user account creation.

iCUE SOFTWARE

You can use iCUE to monitor system temperatures, set custom fan curves, and create RGB temperature alerts. The Vengeance PC has the fan curves set to Balanced by default to provide the best performance with the lowest noise levels. You can toggle through the other predefined options, Quiet and Extreme, or create your own fan curve profiles. When using CORSAIR peripherals, iCUE has built in features to calibrate your mouse and adjust DPI, record macros and remap keys and buttons, and fine-tune headset audio settings.

CORSAIR DIAGNOSTIC

CORSAIR Vengeance PCs include the CORSAIR DIAGNOSTICS utility software that provides an overview of your Vengeance PC, diagnoses and evaluates your components, reports any issues that may have occurred on your desktop, shows an overview of installed applications, and more. Follow the instructions below to access all the CORSAIR DIAGNOSTICS features.

The homepage will show your purchased Vengeance PC and display all the features available in CORSAIR DIAGNOSTICS.

ANALYSIS

In the Analysis feature, you can evaluate individual components to ensure they are functioning properly, or can you test all the components at once for a full quality evaluation. The test can be configured to loop one time or have multiple loops for extended testing.

When the test is complete, you will be prompted with a Pass/Fail notice, number of loops completed, and the time it took for the test to complete.

Clicking on the “Go To Results” button will redirect you to the full results of the evaluation. The results will display each test that was executed on the component with a Pass/Fail notification.

CHECK UP

In the Check Up feature, you can perform stress tests on your components. This can be done in sequential order, or you can stress test all the components at once. To begin, choose either “Simultaneously” or “Sequentially” and begin the Checkup Test.

INTERACTIVE TESTS

In the Interactive Tests feature, you can check the functionality of your connected devices and verify that they are working properly. Select a device, and follow the instructions provided to evaluate the connected device.

The mouse test will evaluate the functionality and accuracy of your connected mouse.

The keyboard test will evaluate the functionality and accuracy of your connected keyboard.

The GPU test is an interactive test that will evaluate your installed graphics card. Follow along the instructions provided in this section to complete the GPU test. After stopping the test, you must select “Pass” or “Fail” to add the results to the report.

SYSTEM INFO

The System Info section provides your system’s full hardware and software information with its configuration and layout. It also provides a detailed log of any events that have occurred on your Vengeance PC.

WINDOWS SUPPORT

The Windows Support feature provides assorted options to optimize Windows settings on your Vengeance PC. These options include optimizing your storage drives, setting optimal power options, personalizing your desktop, and more.

EVENTS CALENDAR

In the Events Calendar section, you can view error logs and application events that have occurred on your Vengeance PC. This will be illustrated in the calendar by colored cubes based on the severity of the event.
