INSTALLATION


BEFORE YOU START

Turn the computer off prior to the installation of the LS Aurora RGB Light Strips.

The LS Aurora RGB Light Strips cannot be bent at sharp angles due to the design of the internal circuitry, doing so will damage the light strips.

1. CREATE A LIGHT STRIP CHAIN

  • Connect LS Aurora RGB Light Strips (A) by inserting the Male CORSAIR 3-pin RGB connector (D) of a light strip into the Female CORSAIR 3-pin RGB connector (E) of another light strip.

2. MOUNT LS AURORA RGB LIGHT STRIPS

  • The LS Aurora RGB Light Strips (A) can be magnetically mounted on a steel chassis or adhered to a surface with the supplied mounting tape.

3. CONNECT LIGHT STRIPS TO A +5V ARGB ADAPTER CABLE

  • Insert the Male CORSAIR 3-pin RGB connector (D) of the LS Aurora RGB Light Strip into the Female CORSAIR 3-pin RGB connector (F) on the CORSAIR 3-pin RGB to +5V ARGB adapter cable (C).

Two CORSAIR 3-pin RGB extension cables (E) are included if additional length is required.

4. CONNECT ADAPTER CABLE TO A +5V ARGB HEADER

  • Connect the +5V ARGB connector (G) from the CORSAIR 3-pin RGB to +5V ARGB adapter cable (C) to the +5V ARGB header on your motherboard or lighting controller.

5. CONFIGURE LIGHTING

Lighting is configured and managed by the device to which the +5V ARGB adapter cable is connected. In most situations this is typically the motherboard via a +5V ARGB header, which would require entering the BIOS to configure the lighting effects. Please refer to your motherboard manual for additional details.


FAQ


Can I use the LS Aurora RGB Light Strips with CORSAIR Lighting Controllers?



The LS Aurora RGB Light Strips can be used as an expansion to the iCUE LINK LS Aurora RGB Light Strip kit or used with other CORSAIR lighting controllers such as the Commander PRO / Commander PRO XT / Lighting Node PRO.

Please note that when using the LS Aurora RGB Light Strips with the Commander PRO / Commander PRO XT / Lighting Node PRO, the lighting channel setup should be configured as “QL RGB Series”.
