How to enable Dolby Atmos on CORSAIR headsets

Many of our headsets are equipped with spatial audio, so you might be wondering how to enable Dolby Atmos on your CORSAIR headset. (This guide applies to any of our headsets that utilize Dolby Atmos for their surround sound.)

Using Dolby Atmos on your headset is the best way of ensuring a vibrant, immersive, and enjoyable gaming experience. Single-player story-driven games benefit from the extra realism, and competitive multiplayer titles can be improved with more accurate special audio.

Luckily, the process is super quick, only requiring the installation of a small additional program, Dolby Access, which can be found on the Microsoft store. The instructions are as follows:

1. Install the Dolby Access app from the Microsoft store.
2. Once Dolby Access is installed, open the program, and click the “Products” Section.
3. Select “Dolby Atmos for Headphones”.
4. Your connected CORSAIR headset will appear here. Simply select it, and the setup is complete.
5. To check the setup has been successful, open iCUE, and click into the headset’s module.
6. You’ll know if Dolby Atmos has been enabled if the EQ options are disabled. (They are disabled as changing EQ settings can mess with the spatial audio.)
