PC enthusiasts often prioritize the case as one of the first core components when building their ultimate rig. In fact, in most cases (no pun intended), a PC case can be a major factor in deciding whether to upgrade from a current setup or put together a new build altogether. Cases offer a wide range of features that PC builders pay attention to, but what they gravitate to the most are aesthetics, performance, and functionality.
CORSAIR unveiled its latest line of 6500 Series Mid-Tower PC cases, which feature a dual-chamber design. These cases are built to meet high-quality standards and cater to PC builders of all levels of experience. The 6500 Series aims to exceed previous models and establish new benchmarks in the dual-chamber PC case market. Depending on your specific PC build requirements, you can choose from three different variants of the 6500 Series.
A high-quality case with good ventilation, such as the 6500D AirFlow model, facilitates efficient airflow by allowing cool air to enter and hot air to exit. The extra fans in the front of the case provide additional cooling to ensure that all essential components operate at their optimal temperature. Additionally, proper airflow helps prevent the accumulation of dust and dirt.
Suppose you initially chose the AIRFLOW variant of the 6500 series case for its superior cooling but later realized that you prefer a more refined appearance. Fortunately, the 6500 series case offers a multitude of customization options, enabling you to create a unique and personalized look that suits your preferences. For example, you can swap the standard front airflow panel for glass to give your build a more elegant look.
You can purchase the 6500D series tempered glass conversion kit directly from our website in black and white colors.
Replacing the front panel on the 6500D AF with glass is a straightforward process.
First, remove the front filter and open the side glass panel.
You will see on the side of the front panel frame that two screws are holding the AIRFLOW front panel. Remove both the top and bottom screws.
Once the side screws are removed, you will need to unscrew four more screws in the front.
You can now completely detach the AIRFLOW front panel from the case frame by unlatching the panel from the three hinges that are holding it in place. Prepare your 6500D tempered glass panel.
Align the glass panel with the three hinges where you remove the AIRFLOW panel and gently put the glass panel in place.
To secure the glass panel in place, install the two side screws first, then work your way to the front and install the four remaining screws. Once you have all six screws in place, your 6500D tempered glass panel is fully installed.
There you have it, that simple. You have successfully given your 6500 build a fresh new look with improved lighting from all angles, making it the focal point of your whole setup. If you want to take personalization to the next level, we also provide various panels for the 6500 series case that can match any imaginable setup.
The thrill of putting together a new PC or upgrading an existing one never fades. The possibilities for customization and personalization are endless, and finding the perfect case that offers a sophisticated design, phenomenal performance, and unmatched flexibility can be genuinely inspiring. Look no further than the 6500 series case, as it embodies all of these attributes and more, making it one of the most sought-after PC cases on the market.
