The CORSAIR ONE i500 features a standard micro-ATX motherboard which supports memory kits with up to four DDR5 memory modules.
In its default configuration, the CORSAIR ONE i500 ships with up to 64GB of DDR5 memory rated at 6000 MT/s. If you wish to upgrade, we recommend fully replacing the stock memory kit with a complete kit rather than adding additional modules to an existing kit.
For detailed compatibility information, check out the CORSAIR MEMORY FINDER to find a memory kit that has been validated for the CORSAIR ONE i500.
You will need a PH1 Philips screwdriver. The CORSAIR PC DIY PRECISION TOOLKIT will include all the necessary bits and more for upgrading the CORSAIR ONE i500.
Opening the CORSAIR ONE i500 is very simple. First, make sure your system is shut down, the power is off, and all cables are disconnected from the system.
Caution: When handling electronics, work in a clean, well-lit environment and ground yourself before touching parts such as motherboards and memory modules, as they can be sensitive to electrical discharge.
Remove the Left Side Panel Filter by gently pulling the magnetically attached filter away from the side panel. Then remove the two top screws using the PH1 Philips screwdriver and lift the side panel away from the chassis.
To access the motherboard, CPU, and memory, remove the two screws securing the top fan tray to the chassis.
Swing open the fan tray and carefully move the tubing for the CPU liquid cooler out of the way.
Remove your old modules by pressing the top clips to release each module and carefully lift them out.
Then install your new memory kit by matching the notch on each module with the notch in the memory slot and inserting each memory module until they click into place.
A memory kit with two modules should be installed in slots 2 and 4, while a memory kit with four modules will populate all 4 slots.
You can now move the tubing from the liquid cooler back into place and secure the fan tray, then reinstall the side panel and magnetic filter.
Finally, boot up your i500 and check that the XMP for your memory kit has been applied in the BIOS, then reboot your CORSAIR ONE.
