iCUE LINK is not just for fans and AIO coolers but can be expanded into almost every CORSAIR line-up. This is shown perfectly with the integration of iCUE LINK into the Hydro X Series line-up, adding new and exciting functionality as well as introducing a wide variety of quality-of-life features, making it easier than ever to build a custom-cooled setup.
iCUE LINK supports a multitude of different Hydro X Series components and is also compatible with previous generation XG7 blocks via an adapter.
Let's talk a bit about the different components that are covered by iCUE LINK:
The XC7 has been a high performance CPU Water Block since it's introduction, and has enjoyed a few improvements since it's launch. With the latest CORSAIR iCUE LINK XC7 RGB ELITE, we have implemented a triple split jet plate design, a temperature sensor, and more RGB LED's for incredibly smooth lighting effects.

Now, the XC7 RGB ELITE LCD water blocks are not technically part of the iCUE LINK ecosystem, as they use a USB Type-C connection, instead of our propriety iCUE LINK connector. However, we thought to include it as it's been announced alongside the iCUE LINK stuff and works great alongside it. So, for if iCUE LINK doesn't interest you, but the XC7 RGB ELITE LCD does, don't worry, as you don't need the System Hub or any other iCUE LINK products to use these.
With the popularity of our LCD coolers for AIO coolers we have created a version of the CORSAIR XC7 RGB ELITE with a built in LCD screen to show off various system temperatures or custom gifs. Or even weirder stuff.

Water blocks for graphics cards are a bit more complicated than CPU blocks since there are so many different types of graphics cards available. An Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, for example, comes in many different versions, many of which use different layouts, requiring different water blocks.
For this reason, the iCUE LINK Hydro X Series line-up introduced our first universal water block that fits not just one specific type of graphics card but can mount to a wide variety of different cards, no matter what type of PCB and cooler they have.
To quickly check if a graphics card is compatible with one of our water blocks, the custom cooling configurator can be used.

The next generation of Pump/Reservoir combos has been introduced with iCUE LINK. The CORSAIR iCUE LINK XD5 RGB ELITE incorporates the most well-known pump in the custom cooling community (The Xylem D5) as well as a built in temperature sensor and RGB lighting—all controlled via a single iCUE LINK cable.
That's right, no more MOLEX power cables, or multiple RGB cables. Where the previous generation had five different cables the XD5 ELITE RGB employs just a single cable for everything.

iCUE LINK 4-way signal splitter
The CORSAIR iCUE LINK 4-way splitter lets you split a single channel into four individual cables (all individually controlled using iCUE software). This is especially handy, as all Hydro X Series are end point components meaning they have just a single iCUE LINK input plug, unlike for example the QX fans which have two, so they can be chained.
iCUE LINK GPU RGB Adapter
With the popularity of our full cover XG7 water blocks, we wanted users to be able to connect these to an iCUE LINK System hub. The current XG7 Water Blocks uses the standard CORSAIR 3 pin RGB connector, but with this adapter, the XG7's lighting functions will be recognized in iCUE.
