What cable does the XC7 RGB ELITE LCD connect with?

Despite offering native support for it, the XC7 RGB ELITE LCD does not require iCUE LINK connectors and the System Hub in order to connect to your system. It includes a USB Type-C cable that directly connects to the USB 2.0 Header on your motherboard. This relates to the LCD display that the cooler uses and its power requirements. After connecting, it remains fully customizable using the latest version of CORSAIR iCUE Software.

DO YOU STILL NEED A CORSAIR iCUE LINK SYSTEM HUB?

You can use the XC7 RGB ELITE LCD cooler even if you don't have an iCUE LINK System Hub in your system. If you want to use this cooler in your custom loop, you can use it by simply connecting it to the USB 2.0 header with the included USB Type-C cable. This way, you will be able to access all the features.

Note: Only mix this cooler with copper and brass products, not aluminum ones. To learn why mixing metals is a bad idea, take a look at our article about mixing copper and aluminum in the same loop.
