INSTALLATION


BEFORE YOU START

NOTE: CORSAIR iCUE LINK System Hub (sold separately) is required to operate the iCUE LINK LS Aurora RGB Light Strip Kit.

Turn the computer off prior to the installation of the iCUE LINK devices and accessories.

The LS Aurora RGB Light Strips cannot be bent at sharp angles due to the design of the internal circuitry, doing so will damage the light strips.

1. CREATE A LIGHT STRIP CHAIN

  • Connect LS Aurora RGB Light Strips (A) by inserting the Male CORSAIR 3-pin RGB connector (I) of a light strip into the Female CORSAIR 3-pin RGB connector (J) of another light strip.

2. MOUNT LS AURORA RGB LIGHT STRIPS

  • The LS Aurora RGB Light Strips (A) can be magnetically mounted on a steel chassis or adhered to a surface with the supplied mounting tape.

  • Insert the Male CORSAIR 3-pin RGB connector (I) of the LS Aurora RGB Light Strip into the CORSAIR 3-pin RGB port (H) on the iCUE LINK Adapter (C).

Two CORSAIR 3-pin RGB extension cables (E) are included if additional length is required.

  • The iCUE LINK Adapter (C) can be magnetically mounted on a steel chassis or adhered to a surface with the supplied mounting tape.

  • Option 1: Connect the iCUE LINK Adapter (C) to an iCUE LINK System Hub (M - sold separately) with the iCUE LINK Cable (F).

  • Option 2: Connect the iCUE LINK Adapter (C) to an iCUE LINK System Hub (M - sold separately) by using the Active bridge connector (B).

CONNECTION OF +5V ARGB DEVICES


This section provides a brief guide on how to install your iCUE LINK Adapter with +5 ARGB devices.

1. CONNECT A +5V ARGB DEVICE TO THE +5V ADAPTER CABLE

  • Connect +5V ARGB device to the +5V ARGB connector (K) on the +5V ARGB to CORSAIR 3-pin adapter cable (D).

  • After connecting the +5V ARGB device, insert the Male CORSAIR 3-pin RGB connector (I) on the +5V ARGB adapter cable into the CORSAIR 3-pin RGB port (H) on the iCUE LINK Adapter (C).

Two CORSAIR 3-pin RGB extension cables (E) are included if additional length is required.

1. INSTALL iCUE

2. UPDATE FIRMWARE FOR CONNECTED DEVICES

  • Once iCUE is installed run the software. If any of the connected devices need a firmware update, you will be prompted to perform an update via a notification in the top right corner. You can also click the settings (cog wheel icon in the top right corner) and check for the software and firmware updates manually.

3. LIGHTING SETUP

Quick Lighting Setup

  • Select the predefined Murals effects from the iCUE Home screen to quickly change the lighting effects.

Lighting Setup

  • Select the LS Aurora tile.

  • Select "Lighting Setup" to re-arrange your light strips to better match the physical placement inside your system.

Choose your desired lighting animation from several pre-defined lighting effects:

  • Select the LS Aurora Series from the navigation bar.
  • Click “Lighting Effects” to access the lighting effects page and select the desired lighting effect.

FAQ


Why can’t I change my lighting effect?

Murals may be preventing you from selecting a lighting effect. Please disable Murals by clicking on the Murals Indicator located on the Home screen or from the iCUE LINK device page.



How many light strips can I connect together?



The total maximum number of light strips that may be connected is 4 to 5, depending on the lengths of the LS Aurora RGB Light Strips.



How do I configure other lighting devices not shown in iCUE?



Please use the “Generic RGB Light Strip” option in the “Setup Lighting Channel” drop down menu to power miscellaneous lighting devices.
