Introducing the CORSAIR NIGHTSABRE WIRELESS, your next versatile gaming weapon, equally at home on the mean streets of de_dust2 as it is on a planet in the vast unexplored galaxies of Starfield. Let’s take a look at the specs:
The CORSAIR NIGHTSABRE WIRELESS is one of our most versatile offerings. Where the CORSAIR KATAR is super focused for FPS, and the CORSAIR SCIMITAR is all about MMOs, for the NIGHTSABRE, we've perfectly balanced weight, performance, and features. We’ve packed a lot into the streamlined, symmetrical shape and of course, there’s no shortage of RGB. There’s also a total of 11 programmable buttons, meaning that the elegant exterior belies considerable capabilities, so, let’s take a look at some of them.
We’ve implemented our CORSAIR QUICKSTRIKE mouse buttons in the NIGHTSABRE. These feature no gap between the button and the switch, which combines with a spring-loaded system to return them to rest incredibly quickly. This means that however fast you’re clicking, this mouse won’t get in the way. We’ve also included a couple of extra buttons combined into the left button, which are particularly handy for twitch reactions, like a melee attack. Additionally, the NIGHTSABRE has side scroll, too, making it perform well during work and play.
One of the most important aspects of mouse design is the shape. It can be as technologically perfect as you want, but if the shape doesn’t fit the hand, what’s the point?
Well, we know that so, the CORSAIR NIGHTSABRE has been designed with a super accessible ambidextrous shape. The extended 129.41mm/5.09-inch length combines with the grippy sides to create an overall shape that’s as comfortable for a palm grip as it is for a claw grip. Those inset sides are also great for fingertip grips, as they allow the pinky and thumb to curl around and under, meaning that the CORSAIR NIGHTSABRE adheres to the hand securely.
With versatility at the heart of the CORSAIR NIGHTSABRE’s design, the weight is vital, too. Weighing just 99g / 3.5 oz, the NIGHTSABRE isn’t too heavy for FPS games, nor too light or featureless for MMOs or RPGs. The weight is also positioned centrally, meaning that the NIGHTSABRE feels perfectly balanced, as all things should be, which is particularly helpful for low DPI players who often lift-off and reset.
In the middle of a match, being able to adjust your DPI on-the-fly or firing off a quick skill with a key remap may mean all the difference. Luckily, the NIGHTSABRE has you covered, letting you adjust DPI in increments directly from the NIGHTSABRE itself to help you dial in your aim in the middle of a firefight. And since the NIGHTSABRE is fully programmable with CORSAIR iCUE, you can set up some key remaps for your go-to-game before you hop into a match. Check out the video below to learn more.
Of course, as you'd expect from a mouse releasing in 2023, the NIGHTSABRE has extensive RGB lighting covering 7 different individually addressable zones, allowing you to customize the look of the mouse with considerable freedom.
In addition to the classic CORSAIR sails logo, we have some angular strips of light behind each mouse button and some aggressive lines that wrap around to the front of the mouse. This creates a downright battle-ready silhouette, with another zone under the heel of the mouse that gives a supercar exhaust vibe. Staying up too late gaming in a darkened room? There’s no question that the CORSAIR NIGHTSABRE looks mean.
Shape, weight, design, and lighting don’t matter much if what’s under the hood isn’t up to snuff, but of course we’ve outfitted the CORSAIR NIGHTSABRE with our latest mouse technology.
To start with, the NIGHTSABRE contain our high-performance CORSAIR MARKSMAN sensor. It’s capable of a frankly dizzying 26,000 DPI, 650 IPS, and up to 50G of acceleration. For the impossibly obsessive, you can even adjust the DPI in increments of 1, because why not?
The NIGHTSABRE also has triple mode connectivity: USB Type-C, Bluetooth 4.2 + LE, and the sub-1ms SLIPSTREAM CORSAIR WIRELESS. These modes cover all bases, from the wireless-wary luddites, to the gaming laptop users, who are often short on USB ports.
Those of you who worry about wireless mice dying mid-game, the CORSAIR NIGHTSABRE can last up to 100 hours (lighting off,) 65 hours (lighting on.) Additionally, it’s got fast-charging, so 15 minutes on charge top you up with around 20-hours of playtime.
