CORSAIR K55 CORE: Everything You Need to Know
The CORSAIR K55 CORE is our newest entry level gaming keyboard, continuing the CORE line by reducing the size and less popular functions of the K55 RGB PRO while retaining the identity of the K55 series. This membrane keyboard is aimed for everyday use in a wide range of situations, whether you’re keeping quiet in the office or slaying demons at night.

Features
While the idea of the CORE series is to strip down keyboards to their essentials, that doesn’t mean that the K55 CORE is a basic keyboard. This full sized keyboard still has plenty of functionality that that vast majority of users will make use of.
Ten- Zone RGB Backlighting
It’s a CORSAIR keyboard, of course it’s going to have RGB lighting. While the K55 RGB Pro allowed for some customization, the K55 CORE doubles the lighting zone from 5 to 10, allowing for more detailed effects. All this is controllable by iCUE, allowing you to control all your CORSAIR in one easy place.
Convenient Media Controls
The media controls from the K55 RGB PRO have been slimmed down, retaining the core features, allowing for play/pause, volume control, and mute. These minimal buttons will still allow for control of your media while being out of the way. Paired with the Win lock and brightness buttons, you’ll have all your commands right at your fingertips.
300ml Spill Resistance
One of the unique benefits of having a membrane keyboard is that it’s less susceptible to damage, especially from liquid. This allows the K55 CORE to have a resistance to spills up to 300ml, giving you the confidence to game without worrying about real-life water attacks.
The K55 CORE is all about function.
