The CORSAIR / WCE build-off is a competition held on Reddit and Discord where three users are selected to create the best custom PC build they can, with just two rules: They have to use a 6500 Series case, and CORSAIR's Hydro X water-cooling components. Outside of this, they are free to do anything they want. So, during a four-week period, these builders show off their ingenuity, skill, and creativity, resulting in some absolutely stunning builds!
All three contestants have completed their submissions and now it's down to you, the community, to pick which one you like the most. At the bottom of these page you'll find the form to cast your vote, which will automatically enter you into a sweepstakes to win a Hydro X Series iCUE LINK XH405i RGB custom cooling kit. There are also some other options that will grant you additional chances to win.
So, in no particular order, here are the builds that you'll be voting on. let's take a look.
Project 395C is a striking two-tone build using the characteristic CORSAIR yellow to create a design that screams performance with an automotive undertone. We love the bold color and tidiness of this build. The custom vinyl wrap and painted tubing are particularly nice touches that contribute to the extremely sleek overall look of the PC. A detailed explanation of the build can be found in their Reddit post.
HoodRat97, by comparison, opts for a totally different route to custom-cooling excellence with their choice to go with dual loops, which show off how spacious the 6500 Series really is. Not stopping there, the decision to resurface multiple components, including the motherboard tray, with a wood finish to match the Walnut Elite PC case panel kit really helps this build commit to the wooden visual focus. More details, in addition to a YouTube video, can be found in their Reddit post.
Potential-Grass6308 submitted the most clearly-themed build here, going all-in on the gear-driven aesthetic with the PC aptly named "Project Clockwork." Laser engraving multiple components, even down to the swappable side plates of the iCUE LINK RX120 fans, made for an especially cohesive build. Project Clockwork also made use of a reverse connector motherboard for next-level cable management. You can read more about the process in their thread on r/watercooling.
We want to know which build you like the best. Vote below and enter into the raffle for a chance to win a Hydro X Series iCUE LINK XH405i RGB kit in your choice of color, and create your own masterpiece. We will draw one random winner from the entries.
