HOW TO

What to do if your AIO cooler powers on but your unit still overheats

If your AIO cooler is working but your PC unit still overheats, try the following steps to resolve the issue.

If none of the steps below resolves your problem, contact our Support Team for assistance.

NOTE: We do NOT recommend opening or modifying the cooler in any way. Doing so will void the warranty of your cooler.

Step 1: Make sure your fans and radiators are clean of dirt or debris

Sometimes dirt or debris causes fans and radiators to not work optimally.  Clear out any debris to improve the airflow.

Step 2: Reapply thermal paste

If you have had your PC unit for some time, you may need to reapply the thermal paste. You can purchase new tubes of thermal paste on our Webstore.

We recommend reapplying thermal paste every 12 to 18 months.

Step 3: Check the setting of the cooler header

If your cooler has a 3-pin header and no SATA connector, check your BIOS settings and make sure the header connected to your cooler is set to the maximum or fastest setting possible.
