CORSAIR XTM60: Everything you need to know

An essential part of building a PC is thermal paste, and there are many to choose from. But why do we need thermal paste in the first place? If you look at heat spreaders on CPUs or the base plates of heatsinks, there will always be microscopic gaps between the two that impair cooling capability. Therefore, it's vital to use a thermally conductive material, like thermal paste, to fill these gaps to ensure that heat is transferred efficiently. XTM60 comes in a box that contains 3 grams of thermal paste in a syringe container for easy application, as well as an applicator card that helps spread the paste on the surface it is applied to.

XTM60 is easy to apply due to its low viscosity and the included applicator helps to spread the paste evenly on surfaces.

The thermal paste is non-electrically conductive and non-corrosive, so it will not short circuit or damage components. It does not dry out or crack easily and maintains thermal conductivity for a long time after initial application.
