Can I run Manor Lords?

As the wording implies, if your system meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements listed above, you should be fine.

Manor Lords, much like a lot of real-time building/strategy games such as Sim-City, Age of Empires, and the Anno series, benefit from a strong CPU more than a strong GPU. This is because these games rely on processing and tracking a lot of data in real-time and there is less emphasis on super fancy graphics or the ability to run at ridiculously high frame rates.

So, if you're thinking of upgrading your PC specifically for Manor Lords, chances are that you're better off upgrading the CPU and RAM rather than the GPU. If you're after some new RAM or that CPU needs a better cooler, you'll find all of that and more over at our main website.

What kind of game is Manor Lords?

We mentioned this at the outset of this page, but if you enjoyed Cities: Skylines, and the Total War series, you’ll probably enjoy Manor Lords. It’s a mixture of medieval battle strategy and city building.

This means that you’ll have to think tactically. This mindset will apply to commanding armies to achieve victory over raiders intent on laying waste to your city and to managing resources and looking after your people during peacetime. It’s a long-term game, too. So, you can fully expect to keep a campaign going for months. Especially after you’ve been colonized by invaders enough times to get a handle on the basics.
