List of programs known to conflict with CORSAIR iCUE

CORSAIR iCUE can sometimes experience issues if it’s used and/or installed at the same time as certain other software on your PC. Here’s a list of software to watch out for, and why these problems can occur.

iCUE is a remarkably capable piece of software. It can control the lighting of your entire system, manage the DPI of your mouse, create macros and Rapid Trigger settings for keyboards, monitor the temps of your AIO, and much more.

Why does iCUE conflict with other programs?

Unfortunately, creating a piece of software that can do so much requires it to access a lot of different areas within your PC. The same goes for a lot of other software, and when multiple programs are fighting over the same things, issues can occur. This is why you most commonly see issues with programs that are similar to iCUE. Programs that control lighting, fans, peripherals, or similar are particularly likely to mess things up.

The best way to avoid these issues is to keep the number of problematic programs installed to a minimum. If it’s been a while since you’ve tidied up your system, there’s a strong chance that there are at least a few programs that you no longer need or might not have ever been aware of. This would be a perfect time to uninstall these.
