If you've kept up with this year's CES coverage, or general PC hardware technology, you may have seen mentions of "Reverse Connector" components, such as MSI's Project Zero or ASUS' BTF products. We've worked in tandem with both companies to develop cases that'll support the hardware that'll not only provide a sleeker, finished PC build - but also to ease the building process. When combined with our iCUE LINK ecosystem - you won't have to worry about spending hours on cable management.
Starting with our 2500 Series and 6500 Series cases, we'll be supporting reverse connector motherboards. In the pictures above, you may notice the motherboard tray has cutouts to perfectly accommodate each reverse connector from (ATX 24-pin, EPS12V) to front I/O (USB-C, USB 3.0-A, etc.). With that being said, our 6500X, 6500X RGB, and 6500D AIRFLOW cases are compatible with the following reverse connector ATX motherboards.
Note that the 6500 Series is not compatible with mATX Reverse Connector motherboards.
Building a showcase-worthy PC is easier than ever, and we're absolutely excited about the future of reverse connector motherboards and to see the list expand. Find out more about our dual-chamber 2500 and 6500 Series cases here, including the ability to accessorize it to your preference.
