HOW TO

Politique en matière de pixels morts pour les moniteurs Corsair

To provide you the highest quality experience with our monitors, we provide a Panel Quality Guaranty. If you purchase a Corsair monitor from our Webstore and find a certain amount of bright pixels or dark subpixels, we will exchange your monitor during the hardware warranty period.

NOTE: 3 subpixels is equal to 1 pixel.

What are bright and dark pixels?

  • bright pixel is a pixel that appear as a bright white, red, blue, or green dot that is always on when viewed on a black background. Bright pixels occur when the transistors of a pixel are "off" for TN panels or stuck "on" for MVA, PVA, and IPS panels. This allows all light to pass through the RGB layer.
  • dark pixel is a pixel that appears as a black dot on a bright background. Dark pixels occur when the transistor in the transparent electrode layer is stuck "on" for TN panels or "off" for MVA, PVA, and IPS panels. This means no light ever passes through to the RGB layer.
