Back in October 2023, we released the Platform:6, which was designed to be an endgame working and gaming desk. Fully adjustable, modular, and with great cable management features, too.
However, we made it 6ft wide, which is a great size for a comprehensive PC setup, but unsurprisingly, many people do not have that much space. So, for those with more humble abodes, we’ve created the Platform:4.
66% of the size, with 99% of the features. let's take a look.

Despite having two whole feet less to work with, the Platform:4 has basically the same feature set as its big brother. First, we’ll go over the cool stuff included with all variants, then get to the things you only get with the “Elevate” height-adjustable models.
This is a fancy way of describing the wide trough that hangs below the desk in which you can manage cables, power bars, and anything else you’d prefer to keep hidden. It’s got a massive opening on the back so you can route the cables wherever without bending them too much, and the tray hinges open with the loosening of two thumbscrews for easy cable access.
The entire thing is perforated with a grid of slots and holes, too. This means that compulsive cable managers can go nuts with cable ties and Velcro straps without having to stretch over to a tie-down point. The whole thing is basically made of tie-down points.
Keen-eyed DIY enthusiasts will recognise certain parts of the Platform:4 as being made from 3060 rails. These are standardized extruded aluminum bars that fit regular T-nuts, which means you can bolt all manner of extra parts to the desk with ease. Using standardized parts like this mean that you’re not limited to things we make, or any other proprietary silliness.
Like the Platform:6, we’ve included a monitor arm, though it is just a single monitor version this time, as two gaming monitors of modern size would be a struggle to fit on a 4ft wide desk. That being said, the single monitor arm can support monitors weighing up to 27lbs/12.2kg, which means it can easily handle even those massive ultrawide gaming monitors like the 34WQHD240-C.
The monitor mount clamps to the horizontal 3060 bar, so you can position it at any point along the length. If you had a pretty specific setup, for example using a laptop with an external monitor, being able to move the monitor arm along, then extend the monitor back over is super handy. WFH people with company-provided laptops will already understand this benefit.
Another feature carried over from the Platform:6 is the small cubby at the back of the desk. This storage pod provides a convenient space for various items.
The cover that sits flush with the desk surface has gaps at the front and on the sides, too. So you can pull cables out through the hole to charge a mouse or a phone, then push them back in afterwards to keep things tidy. Speaking of charging, there’s a USB Type-A and Type-C port hidden in there, too. Provide power to these and you’re good to go.
Just like the original Platform:6, you can increase the width of the Platform:4 with optional 30cm desk extensions. Perfect for moving your PC from the floor to the desk, without eating up valuable mouse space. Additionally, you can opt for side mounted pegboards, where you can hang and store headphones, backpacks, controllers, or anything else you might want at a moment’s notice.
You can also get a top-mounted Multi Frame Pegboard, which makes positioning cameras, lights, and anything else you’d like to display easy as heck.
The Elevate version of the Platform:4 is height adjustable via a motor in each leg. With an LCD controller positioned within arm’s reach, you can effortlessly change the height between 29”- 48” (74cm – 122cm). Allowing you to feign healthy habits at work by standing and return to the inevitable slouch to play Counter Strike as soon as 5pm rolls around.
You can save a couple of presets here, too. Just figure out your preferred sitting and standing heights, and at the touch of a button switch between them. The motors are quiet too, so no one on the Teams meeting will hear as you give up on standing, once again.
