HOW TO

Reset your Corsair One PC

If you need to reset your system, you can use the built-in system reset feature in Windows.

Resetting your PC

When resetting your Windows PC, you will have the option to keep your files or remove them. Selecting the Remove Files option will clean wipe your system back to factory settings.

Before resetting your Windows PC, we recommend backing up any personal data you want to keep.

To reset your Windows PC:

  1. When booting up your PC, press the F8 key to go to the Recovery menu.
  2. Choose the Troubleshoot option.
  3. Choose Reset this PC.
  4. Select whether you want to reset while keeping your files or reset while removing your files.

Re-downloading drivers after resetting

If you reset your system to factory settings, the system should still have the original drivers installed.

If you need to re-download any drivers, you can find them on our downloads page.

What about the Windows activation key?

For the Corsair One PC, we use digital licenses for Windows. These are embedded to the motherboard, meaning you don’t have to enter a key when purchasing and activating Windows.

Please be aware that additional firewalls or VPN settings may cause issues with the activation tool communicating with the Microsoft activation servers.
