CORSAIR 9000D RGB AIRFLOW

• The 9000D is shipped with the doors removed for increased shipping protection.
• To install the doors, unbox and lift them onto the hinge post at the rear of the case.
• Both panels are hinged in the rear and can be opened by pulling along the front edge of the panel to swivel the panels open like a door.
• To remove the panels, lift them off the hinge posts.
• If you would like to lock your panels onto the case, install the included 6-32 screws on the top of the panel hinge post.

• Pull the front steel panel outward. It's secured by two ball snaps at the top and bottom.

• The 9000D RGB AIRFLOW supports mITX, mATX, ATX, E-ATX, and SSI-EEB motherboards, including ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero, and Gigabyte Project Stealth with reversed power connections.
• Ensure the I/O plate or shield is installed if required.
• Align the motherboard with the standoffs and secure it with the provided screws.

• The 9000D RGB AIRFLOW allows a 2nd mITX motherboard to be installed on top of the PSU shroud.
• Remove the rear cover plate by unscrewing four screws to expose the I/O hole.
• Install the four included mITX standoffs on the PSU shroud.
• Install the I/O plate or shield, if needed.
• Align the motherboard with the standoffs and secure it with the provided screws.

• Connect the FPANEL plug directly to your motherboard front panel I/O pins, following the keyed connector.
• For non-standard Intel or AMD motherboards, use the included adapter to connect from the FPANEL plug to the individual pins.

• The 9000D RGB AIRFLOW features CORSAIR’s InfiniRail Fan Mounting System for flexible fan and radiator placement.

• For AIO coolers, top mounting provides optimal noise performance, but other mounts can be utilized based on your build preferences.

• The 9000D supports both horizontal (default) and vertical GPU installations.
• After installing the motherboard, remove the PCI cover screws to fit the GPU.
• Slide the card in until the PCIe retention clicks on the motherboard.
• Align screws in the PCIe shield and secure the expansion card into the case.

• The 9000D RGB AIRFLOW supports vertical GPU mounting with the included accessory plate and a PCIe Riser Card (sold separately).
• Start by removing the two screws from the PCI plate at the rear of the case.
• Remove the third PCIe cover from the top.

• Swap the plate with the boxed vertical mount plate.
• Reinstall the 2 screws removed from the plate prior.
• Mount the GPU into the riser.

• The 9000D supports 5x 3.5” HDDs & 6x 2.5” SSDs simultaneously using the HDD cage and independent SSD drive sleds.
• Slide the HDD tool-less caddy out of the cage.
• Install an HDD in the drive caddy and slide back into the HDD cage.
• Unlike the 1000D, the 9000D features a fully removable hard drive cage.

• To remove it, unscrew the two thumbscrews behind the motherboard that secure the HDD cage to the chassis.

• Slide the HDD cage outward toward the tempered glass side and lift it out.
• You can remove the pump mounting plate and use it as a cover plate for the HDD cage hole with additional mounting holes.

• To install an SSD, remove the SSD drive sled from the french doors.
• Mount the SSD to the sled from the bottom of the drive.
• Reattach the drive sled to the front door using the hooks and set screw.

• Remove the PSU shroud by unscrewing the two thumbscrews holding it in place.

• Slide the PSU shroud towards the front of the case and lift it out.

• Slide the PSU into the PSU area.
• Secure the screws to the PSU exhaust area.
• Reinstall the PSU shroud by installing the screws in reverse order.

• The 9000D is compatible with all RMx SHIFT power supplies and installs identically to a standard ATX PSU.

• A second PSU can be installed in the bottom of the case to power the optional mITX motherboard. Remove the Rear cover plate to access the secondary PSU location.
• This PSU location supports both SFX and SFX-L power supplies.

• The 9000D can mount up to 18x 120mm or 7x 140mm on the top, side, and rear of the case.
• The side fan mounts are only accessible when using 140mm or 200mm fans in the top or with a row of 120mm fans removed.

• To install fans using the top or front InfiniRails, decide on your fan configuration before starting the build.
• Remove the InfiniRail struts and add or adjust the amount of fan mounting tabs are on the rail with how many you would like to screw into the fans.
• Reinstall the InfiniRail struts with the configuration you would like.

• Align your fans to the fan mounting tabs and screw a standard self-tapping fan screw into the fan frame.

• To install fans in the side, align your fans to the fan mounting slots and screw a fan screw into the fan frame.

• The 9000D features four removable dust filters. Twin angled power supply filters on the bottom, a magnetic filter on the side, and plastic/nylon slide-out filters on the top and front.

• The 9000D features a lock on the drawers to keep them from sliding out when moving your PC.
• Turn the lock counter-clockwise to engage the blocker and use the set screw to keep it locked.

The 9000 Series includes various cable management features such as:

• Zip tie points are strategically placed for routing power cables to specific devices.
• iCUE LINK cable hooks in the top panel to securely hold iCUE LINK cables without additional attachments.
• Motherboards that feature connectors on the rear face of the board provide you with the cleanest build.

CONNECT THE iCUE LINK SYSTEM HUB TO USB AND POWER

• Connect the long iCUE LINK cables (P) into the System Hub (M).

CONNECT THE POWER CABLE

• Connect the 6-pin microfit connector (N) into the System Hub (M).
• Connect the 6-pin PCIe connector (N) into a dedicated PCIe power cable from the power supply.

CONNECT THE DATA CABLE

• Connect the micro-USB cable (O) into the System Hub (M).
• Connect the 9-pin USB connector (O) into a USB 2.0 header on the motherboard.

MOUNT SYSTEM HUB

• Mount the System Hub (M) inside the case magnetically or with the supplied tape.

• Download the latest version of iCUE to have full digital control over the RGB logo, your front USB and other front I/O backlighting with iCUE LINK.

Upon power on and iCUE launch, you should see the 9000D RGB AIRFLOW tile if everything is connected correctly and working as intended.

If your priority is getting your lighting setup quickly, by selecting a color palette from iCUE Murals iCUE will ‘paint’ across your devices and synchronize the color between them.

Play around with customizing this for some truly unique profiles including ones using video or photos as color sources.

If you need to modify the geometry or set up of your 9000D RGB AIRFLOW, please select the Lighting Setup tab and either run the Setup Wizard or set your geometry manually using the drop down menus.

Instead of using the wizard, you can use the drop down to the left of the Setup Wizard to accomplish the same thing and set your quantity and length of strips.

Through this menu you will be able to connect legacy and 3rd party devices such as QL fans using their included RGB Hub instead of the Lighting Node or your favorite +5V ARGB devices.

Support for Legacy Devices and Generic 3rd Party Devices will drop at a later date for this adapter. The Generic RGB Device selection will output 204 LEDs worth of instruction so you can leverage the full power of the adapter, but will not be individually addressable via the GUI like the geometry-determined devices.

The Lighting Effects tab will allow you to control the color, animation, and speed of animation through its various settings.

By clicking the slider under 9000D RGB AIRFLOW for Device Memory Mode, you can define your case’s hardware lighting mode that will display when there is no software/iCUE connection.

Any lighting setting made here will reflect in realtime, but will ONLY be displayed continuously when iCUE is closed or not running. If you would like to control the lighting or other customization for when iCUE is in direct software mode, please use the Lighting Settings menu without the Device Memory Mode button checked.

When the iCUE LINK RGB Adapter is actively identifying as a 9000D, iCUE provides a couple additional settings under the device for troubleshooting and customization.

Firstly, you can change the color of the case in the tile to best match your build. Secondly, it will highlight how many LEDs were detected on the strip so you can ensure the full strip or length of lights for whichever device you have connected is detected.
