How Many Radiators can fit in the FRAME 4000D?

Despite being a mid-tower case, the FRAME 4000D has impressive cooling capacity. There are three spots where you can mount a 360mm radiator, with two of these three usable at any one time. Let's explain.

Being able to fit two simultaneous 360mm radiators isn't just important for custom cooling enthusiasts. You might have noticed some 50-Series GPUs from brands like ASUS or MSI, they have models that utilize a 360mm radiator for sufficient cooling. Take the MSI RTX 5090 SUPRIM LIQUID SOC for example. Thus, for high-end builds, being able to simultaneously fit two 360mm radiators is important - one for the CPU's AIO, and the other for the GPU.

Radiators can be installed at the front, side, or top of the FRAME 4000D. Two 360mm radiators can be simultaneously installed when mounting one at the top, and one at the side OR front. In the white Hydro X FRAME 4000D build shown at the top of this article, there are 360mm radiators installed at the top and side (behind the LX120-R fans).
